The Practice
Experiences designed with the discipline of diplomacy
“Numbers on spreadsheets only tell half the story. Our world is laced in cultural nuance, chance encounters, and charisma. Architects of experiences understand these drivers of impact, and curate them.”
— Elizabeth Linder, Founder & Chief Diplomatic Officer

Who We Work With
Client Sectors
The Brooch client values the impact that geographic positioning, a sense of time and place, and the art of a well-curated and choreographed arc of time has on how decisions are made, loyalty is built, and reputations are strengthened. These skills–so perfectly fine-tuned in diplomatic circles–inspire and inform every Experience by Brooch we create.

Kinross House Meetings
Now in their 10th year, the Kinross House Meetings specialize in discreet Track 2 diplomacy, bringing corporate, government, and philanthropic leaders together over a carefully-curated 24-hour dialogue at the property. As Director and Chair of the Meetings, our Founder personally selects the delegates, curates the experience, and looks after the Alumni Network. All Meetings take place at the historic Kinross House Estate in Scotland, a luxury property with a storied Enlightenment-era history.
Fine Wine & History
Berry Brothers & Rudd
London’s oldest wine merchant, Berry Brothers & Rudd, curates a robust program of events for its customers. Brooch created, choreographed, and led the U.S. History and Wine series in the historic “Long Room” at Pickering Place, London. From the wines of Thomas Jefferson’s cellars to the wines of the Wild West, each dinner brought together music, menu, attire, and historical content to create a unique experience for guests. There may have been a bit of line dancing in the cellars under the streets of London, but we certainly couldn’t confirm or deny …
Capital Markets
London Stock Exchange
The London Stock Exchange commissioned Brooch to build the Masterclass Series for the Issuer Services division, which is responsible for ensuring that companies listed on the FTSE 100 and AIM market receive value from their London listing. The Masterclass Series brings in speakers from experts not typically represented in a company’s boardroom, including ex-intelligence officers and media trainers. Ten years on, the Masterclass Series at the LSE is still going and is one of the hallmark offerings at the Exchange.
Bespoke Membership Clubs
Forum 500
Forum 500 is a worldwide community of leaders invited to join the membership organization from senior échalons of the business community, with family offices, entrepreneurs, economists, scientists, academics, technology leaders, artists, and writers all included within the number. Brooch works alongside the Forum Founders to build a new offering for Forum Members, “Forum on the Fringe.” Forum on the Fringe produces programming for members to sit within and alongside major global events of interest, including Art Basel, Festival Napa Valley, and the Chelsea Flower Show.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is an Experience by Brooch?
An Experience by Brooch is a gathering designed with the discipline of diplomacy: precise guest curation, strategic purpose, and an environment where meaningful conversations become the outcome. Brooch produces executive retreats, salon series, board meetings, and stakeholder convenings that leave participants with relationships, not just memories.
Who hires Brooch to architect a gathering?
Brooch works with family offices, national governments, high-growth technology companies, luxury brands, and philanthropic organizations seeking gatherings that accomplish something specific. Clients typically come to Brooch when the stakes of getting the room right are high — a leadership transition, an international launch, or a stakeholder convening that cannot afford to feel like a conference.
What kinds of venues and formats does Brooch work in?
Brooch produces experiences across executive retreats at landmark properties, branded salon series, conference moderation, award hosting, and stakeholder convenings. The Brooch approach is format-agnostic and purpose-driven: the venue and structure follow the strategic objective, not the other way around.
